15. Trump site
The Trump Organization is evaluating the 600 block of South Tryon Street with Infinity Partners for redevelopment. Trump plans to make a decision on whether to proceed with a project by early September. Real estate experts anticipate condos, hotel, offices and shops.
16. 631 N. Tryon St.
Flagship Capital Partners bought the 2.17-acre Renaissance Place Apartments site and demolished the buildings for a redevelopment. It's working with Boulevard Centro's David Furman on a project that could include multistory residential, office and ground-level retail. Details to be announced.
17. Carolina Theatre Condos
In planning stage. Developer has proposed 32-story residential tower with lower-level parking.
18. Catalyst
27-story tower, 462 condos. Amenities: elevated pool, activity deck, private clubroom, fitness center, street-level retail, virtual art gallery in lobby, Wi-Fi in public areas. Under construction. Move-ins begin in early 2009. One-bedroom units start in the high $100,000s, two-bedrooms, in the low $200,000s. Part of a Novare Group project that includes a 15-story office tower and TWELVE condo-hotel on the old Power Building site. 19. Ghazi site
The Ghazi Co. purchased an acre at Tryon, College and Morehead streets for redevelopment. President Afshin Ghazi said he's considering a mixed-use tower that would have ground-level retail and probably include residences. Plans incomplete.
20. Hal Marshall site
Mecklenburg County is involved in a bidding process to sell the 11.7-acre site of the Hal Marshall Services Center on North Tryon Street. Real experts anticipate a mix of uses, including residences.
